About Creative Derbyshire
Creative Derbyshire is a programme of support and development for artists, arts organisations and creative businesses across Derbyshire. Our focus is on developing the creative economy in Derbyshire and fostering a culture of innovation and artistic excellence. The programme is supported by Arts Derbyshire and Arts Council England and is co-ordinated by S4W Ltd.

The programme was established in 2010 in response to research undertaken by Derbyshire County Council into the needs of the arts and creative industries sector in Derbyshire.
We offer creative business services including training and networking events, skills development opportunities and a range of specialist information and links to relevant agencies and services via our website. |
Creative Derbyshire actively promotes knowledge exchange and works in partnership with FE and HE providers, local business and other agencies to provide essential support to new and emerging creative talent.
We strongly encourage access to creative careers and broader opportunities for young people by providing work placements, creative apprenticeships and by facilitating networking events.

offered to creative businesses. These events, held at various locations
across Derbyshire, may be the first point of engagement for creatives with
the business support services that are available in the county
• Training events, seminars and workshops to stimulate creativity and
support artists and business growth
• Creative Apprenticeships and work placements for young people in
order to encourage access to creative careers
